Noëlle Junod Perron obtained her medical degree in Geneva in 1995 and a board certification in internal medicine in 2001, after training in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Basel and Lausanne. She joined the HUG in 2001 as a Clinical Fellow at the Medical Polyclinic, where she trained in medical education. She obtained a Master's degree in 2007 and a PhD in Health Profession Education in 2013 from Maastricht AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ in the Netherlands. She has also had a part-time private practice since the end of 2016.
In 2014, as a lecturer at the UNIGE Faculty of Medicine, she joined the Medical Education Development and Research Unit (UDREM). Since 2021, she is the director of the CAS for trainers in health sciences. She is also in charge of the clinical communication teaching programme for medical students, and coordinates the supervision and coaching skills programme for HUG clinical associates. Her areas of research are physician-patient communication, the acquisition of clinical skills and the training of trainers. She was appointed lecturer in 2018, Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health and Medicine in 2021, and Associate Professor in April 2025.
