AV¶ÌÊÓƵ

Research

At the Faculty of Law, research is a fundamental component of its activities and a driving force for innovation and evolution of legal thinking.

It is based on academic freedom and scientific excellence, ensuring rigorous and independent exploration of contemporary legal issues. This fundamental work directly informs teaching, enabling students to learn about the latest developments, gain direct access to current legal debates and develop critical and engaged thinking about law and its transformations.

Located in the heart of international Geneva, the Faculty benefits from a unique environment for research. Its proximity to international organisations, NGOs, economic actors, public institutions and other players in the city allows for constant dialogue between theory and practice. This privileged location also encourages interdisciplinary approaches and international collaborations.

Thanks to its specialised research centres, the Faculty structures its work and stimulates innovative and varied projects in strategic areas such as international, economic, environmental and digital law. This positioning makes the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ a key player in thinking about law and supporting its transformations in Switzerland and internationally.
