Doctoral Program
The Faculty of Law offers support and mentoring to doctoral students. Highest degree awarded by the Faculty, the doctorate requires in-depth and original individual research work leading to the writing of a thesis (monograph) over a maximum period of five years. Admission is based on application. Applications are open to holders of a full university degree in law or equivalent qualifications.
The Faculty of Law offers researchers and doctoral students a conducive environment in terms of documentary resources and mutual intellectual stimulation. It also offers the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of its research centres active in areas such as , , , , , and .
Obtaining a doctorate in law demonstrates an aptitude for high-level legal research, which is essential for an academic career and valuable in various legal professions, particularly in law firms, international or non-governmental organisations, and in the private sector.
