Scientists take action for the Telethon
From 5 to 7 December, several researchers from the Department of Cell Physiology and Metabolism took part in the Telethon.
On the evening of the 7th of December, they sold books and pens at the Vernets ice rink. By buying one or the other, people directly supported the Telethon. All the money raised will be used in Switzerland, either for medical research into rare genetic diseases, or for social actions in favour of rare genetic diseases.
Some of the researchers also appeared live on TV and radio to explain the importance of the Telethon and how it helps their work as researchers.
