Two winners of the prize G. von Meissner

The Gertrude von Meissner Foundation Research Award honors scientific projects in the field of prevention and treatment of disabilities and illnesses in children and adolescents.

This year, Dr. Gloria Ursino and Dr. Pryscila Teixeira from Prof. Roberto Coppari's laboratory are among the five prizewinners for their projects. This research prize should enable them to provide essential information on the beta cell translatome in type-1 diabetes, and thus uncover promising therapeutic opportunities.
