AV¶ÌÊÓƵ

Alain Strowel holds a degree in law (1983), a degree in philosophy (1985) and a doctorate in law (1992) from the Catholic AV¶ÌÊÓƵ of Leuven (thesis on comparative law and copyright systems). He is a professor at the ¹ó²¹³¦³Ü±ô³Ùé²õ universitaires Saint-Louis (Brussels), at the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ of Liège and at the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel-Leuven, where he teaches, among other things, copyright and design law.

He has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 1988 and has been working at Covington & Burling (Brussels) since 2001. He has published Droit d'auteur et copyright, Divergences et convergences, Brussels, Bruylant and Paris, L.G.D.J., 1993 and with E. Derclaye, Droit d'auteur et numérique, Brussels, Bruylant, 2001.
