The interdisciplinary research project on impact investing in Switzerland (hereinafter the "Project") aims to assess i) which are the (real and perceived) barriers of investing for sustainability impact in Switzerland (i.e, for foundations, associations, family offices, investors, asset managers, social enterprises, institutional investors, and private companies), ii) how efficient is the current Swiss legislative and regulatory framework for impact investing (i.e., investment strategy made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return) and impact investments (i.e., asset classes used to perform impact investing), iii) which aspects could benefit more from legislative and regulatory changes, and to iv) formulate appropriate legislative or regulatory amendments, additional frameworks and support (e.g. tax incentives, knowledge sharing).
