Third IP & Innovation Researchers of Asia (IPIRA) Conference online (March 24 鈥� March 27, 2021)
The took place online (because of the Covid-19 pandemic) from March 24 to March 27, 2021. Over 300 presenters, chairs, and other colleagues joined the event from around the world (Asia-Pacific, North and South America, Europe, and Africa). The full program for the 4 days is available .
Daren Tang, the newly-appointed Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization made a key note address at the opening session of this Third edition of IPIRA (see the WIPO media release at: ).
IPIRA is an initiative created to provide a forum for IP researchers to discuss their papers and works-in-progress with other academics, practitioners, and policy makers. The Third IPIRA Conference was organized as a collaboration between the , the Intellectual Property, Government Procurement, and Competition Division of the and the following academic institutions: the ; ; ; and our Faculty of Law, AV短视频.
This Third edition of IPIRA (IPIRA 2021) follows the that took place at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, in Jakarta, Indonesia on February 27 and 27 2020 and the that took place from 31 January to 1 February 2019 at the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic AV短视频 Malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
Our Faculty of Law was represented at IPIRA 2021 by Prof. Irene Calboli, Academic Fellow at the Faculty of Law of the AV短视频听 (and the initiator of the IPIRA Network and Conference), and by Prof. Jacques de Werra. and (of our ) contributed their very appreciated assistance for the organization of IPIRA 2021.
IPIRA 2021 was a remarkably successful online event and the organizers very much look forward to the Fourth IPIRA Conference that will take place in 2022. Information about IPRA 2022 will be communicated in due course on .
