HELPFUL TOOLS

When loads are too heavy, or there are obstacles in the way (e.g. stairs), suitable equipment should be used to avoid any risk of injury. Please note, however, that the use of certain equipment, such as electric pallet trucks or other lifting devices, is subject to prior training, as indicated in the .

Trolley and pallet trucks

NB : Before use, check that the equipment is in good condition, and observe the operating instructions (e.g. load limit, etc.).

Exoskeletons : a solution for tomorrow ?

Exoskeletons, already in use in a number of institutions, could prove to be an effective handling tool. Although still under-researched, exoskeletons appear to be effective in reducing the muscular constraints associated with load-bearing, and thus in preventing MSDs.
