Muriel Cuendet’s research focuses on the anticancer activity of natural and synthetic products, with two main areas: (i) identifying plant extracts and natural compounds capable of inhibiting one or more stages of carcinogenesis; and (ii) characterizing the mechanisms of action of these compounds by studying the signaling pathways affected in various cancers such as multiple myeloma and lung cancer.
