On Tuesday 26th of November, Dre Alexis BARR, MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences, Imperial College London, UK, invited by Prof. Monica GOTTA and Prof. Patrick MERALDI gave a lecture entitled .
The team of Dre Alexis BARR investigates how cell cycle entry is controlled in healthy cells which allows them to then determine how these mechanisms are subverted by tumour cells, so that they can start to design better targeted therapies. She presented in particular her recent insights on the durable effects of CDK4/6 inhibitors on cancer cells and on the role of the Wee1 protein in cell cycle.
