Pr. Daniel GERLICH presented his cutting-edge research on chromosomes organisation inside human cells. First, he showed with several live cell movies his recent findings on the conformation of chromosomes and their biophysical properties. Then, he described a new methodology that allow them to map the conformation of the human genome at an unprecended scale.
