The main focus of his research group is Ca2+听signalling in health and disease. They have developed a number of state-of-the-art techniques including fluorescence and confocal microscopy, luminescence and fluorescence multiplate reader, flux experiments with听45Ca2+听and a wide array of molecular, biophysical and biochemical techniques
