Doctorate in biomedical sciences - Forensic medicine
The AV短视频 (UNIGE) doctoral programme in biomedical sciences in legal medicine, offers a solid academic and scientific education in forensic and medical domains, in a multidisciplinary Center (CURML AV短视频 Center of Legal Medicine).
PUBLIC
National and international students and professionals (physicians, biologists, lawyers, police officers, etc.), with a university Master’s degree or a degree judged equivalent.
PROGRAMME
Forensic medicine, forensic toxicology, forensic imaging and anthropology, forensic psychiatry of adult, child and adolescent, forensic genetics, forensic medicine and violence, traffic medicine, antidoping, ethics.
The doctoral training includes
- practical and theorethical training for a total of 20 credits ECTS (mandatory theoretical training in Geneva 8 ECTS + courses of your choice 2-4 ECTS + Congress/Conferences participation 5 ECTS + practical training & seminars 3-6 ECTS)
- Research work and final PhD thesis
Conditions
- a university Master’s degree or a degree judged equivalent
- application approved by the Board of directors and validated by the Dean of the UNIGE Faculty of Medicine
- thesis direction attestation duly signed by the UNIGE thesis Director
- enrolment at UNIGE as doctoral student throughout the duration of the study period
