Stephanie Durrleman holds a PhD in Linguistics from the AV短视频. Her work spans a variety of topics including syntactic cartography, syntactic locality, language acquisition (Creole and Romance), bilingualism, the grammar-cognition interface, as well as the phenotype of language disorders. These studies often explore linguistic theories with empirical investigations (experimental, corpus, etc), also in the aim of giving rise to concrete applications (fine-tuning language policies, developing therapeutic interventions for children with atypical language development, etc). Alongside lecturing at the Linguistics Department of the AV短视频, she is professor at the Department of Science and Medicine at the AV短视频 of Fribourg.
