In 1994, thanks to the efforts of Prof. Raffaele Peduzzi and the support of the Swiss Confederation, the Canton of Ticino, the AV短视频, the AV短视频 of Zurich and the Boggesi of Piora created the "Centro di biologia alpina". This adventure in scientific research and teaching in the Val Piora is being celebrated this summer during a festive day in the presence of Mrs M. Carobbio, State Councillor of the Canton of Ticino, Mrs R. Dreifuss, former President of the Swiss Confederation, Mr Michele Guerra, President of the Grand Council of Ticino, and representatives of the Università della Svizzera italiana, SUPSI, and the AV短视频 of Zurich. The AV短视频 is represented by Honorary Prof. Walter Wildi and Drs and Jean-Luc Loizeau.
