Research Interests
- Advanced statistical modeling for psychology and neurosciences reaserchers especially non-linear models as Generalized Additive Mixed Models (GAMMs)
- Affective neuroscience and predictive coding
- Study of affective biases and their modulation by classics psychedelics
- Longitudinal data analysis and resampling techniques
Ongoing Projects
- Implementation of GAMM-Based Analytical Frameworks: Involved in the development and implementation of procedures that enable researchers in psychology and cognitive neuroscience to apply Generalized Additive Mixed Models (GAMMs) in line with the traditions of cognitive sciences.
- Affective Bias Modulation by Psychedelics: Experimental study invetigating how psychedelics influence affective bias in healthy participants.
- Predictive Coding in Emotional Perception: Research on how the brain anticipates emotional stimuli, in collaboration with the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences (CISA).
- Development of Statistical Tools in R: Creating R packages to facilitate complex data analysis in psychology, particularly GAMMs and fMRI-related pipelines.
