Manon Haulotte holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, with an exchange semester at the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ. She is currently completing her Master’s in Digital Neuroscience at the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ of Fribourg, where she is applying advanced machine learning and data analytics techniques to analyze neuroscience datasets.
Her master’s thesis at the ESClab, supervised by Dr. Nicolas Burra and Prof. Juliane Britz (AV¶ÌÊÓƵ of Fribourg), examines inter-brain synchronization during social interactions. By leveraging the lab’s new EEG hyperscanning setup and applying microstate analysis, her research aims to better understand the neural mechanisms underlying social cognition.
Bringing prior professional experience in User Experience Design and course facilitation across Canada, Belgium, and Switzerland, Manon approaches her research with a multidisciplinary perspective, merging psychology, design, and technology. She intends to pursue a PhD to further delve into neuroscience and contribute to teaching and research.
