After earning a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition in Lyon, France, and gaining professional experience in various fields related to nutrition and food sciences, Alexandre decided in 2022 to begin a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ, which he is currently pursuing.
In 2024, Alexandre joined the ESCLab to carry out a research project under the supervision of Dr. Nicolas Burra. Through this project, he explores the cognitive and electrophysiological mechanisms underlying social interactions and visual attention.
His research aims to determine whether being observed and the familiarity of stimuli influence the P100 and N2pc electrophysiological components, as well as participants’ performance (accuracy rate and reaction time), using electroencephalography (EEG).
After completing his Bachelor's degree, Alexandre plans to pursue a Master's degree in neuroscience or advanced psychology, with the ambition of continuing onto a PhD in the field of cognitive sciences and neuroscience.
