After obtaining her high school diploma (maturité gymnasiale), Gentiana began a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, which she is currently completing.

Alongside her studies, she worked for three years as a tutor within the ARA association, providing academic support to students in need. This experience allowed her to interact with diverse profiles, some of whom were dealing with learning difficulties of varying complexity, further strengthening her interest in applied psychology.

Looking ahead, Gentiana plans to explore her options for a Master's degree, the next steps in her academic journey.

Gentiana is currently conducting a research project in the Emotion and Memory Laboratory, supervised by Professor Ulrike Rimmele and postdoctoral researcher Pierrick Laulan. This study aims to evaluate the effect of emotions on memory during aging, analyzing the cognitive and emotional mechanisms involved in this process.

Within the ESCLab, Gentiana assists in supervising courses taught at the Bachelor's level.
