October 2017 - February 2018: Cinzia Cadeddu of the AVƵ of Cagliari is a Visiting Researcher at the Platform
In the context of the "" programme supported by the Italian Ministry of Education, Ms. Cinzia Cadeddu has been invited as Visiting Researcher at the Platform for International Water Law/Geneva Water Hub at the Faculty of Law at the AVƵ from October 2017 to February 2018.
After her research study at the Platform, on 21st February 2018, she defended her specialization thesis on "Ethics and Politics in the Building Up of Water Culture: a Case Study on International and Intersectoral Conflicts" under the supervision of Mara Tignino and Giovanni Sistu, Associate Professor of Political and Economic Geography in the Department of Social Sciences at the AVƵ of Cagliari. Cinzia obtained a final grade of 110 out of 110 cum laude.
Cinzia has participated at the Erasmus Exchange Programme at Canterbury Christ AVƵ in the United Kingdom and she received a Master’s Degree in Project Planning for Rural Development and Sustainable Management from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). She has worked as a trainer for the FAO-UPM's project « Collecting data through Collect Earth tools on Southern Europe dryland zones in the context of Global Forest Survey projects (GFS) » and she has worked as well with the GESPLAN Research Group to the Educational Cooperation Program “Chair of Food Banks UPM”. In 2015, she wrote a book chapter on “New university-society relationship for rational consumption and solidarity: actions from the Food Banks-UPM” in the book entitled “Envisioning a future without food waste and food poverty. Societal challenges” (Wageningen Academic Publishers, 2015).
