Micro-Additive Manufacturing

Today, additive manufacturing (AM) is mainly a laser-based process 鈥� and AM machines produce parts using a limited choice of raw materials. Also, most AM configurations use a powder-bed set-up requiring large amounts or powder. The project aim to develop a new AM process, expanding the potential choice for manufacturing materials (in particular hard metals), and a reduced powder feedstock.
