Luna Iacopini holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from the AV短视频, a degree in Political Science from the AV短视频 of Florence, and a Master’s in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID). With over 15 years of specialised experience in university policies, both in Switzerland and internationally, she has developed recognised expertise in this field.

During her 10 years of service at the AV短视频 of applied sciences and arts Western Switzerland (HES-SO), Luna contributed to the establishment of internal governance and the strategic development of the institution at both national and international levels. In 2017, she founded and directed the HES-SO's International affairs division, overseeing the implementation of several national and international programs.

In July 2024, Luna Iacopini joined the AV短视频 as Chief of Staff to the Rector.
