Background
I am a neurologist specializing in epileptology and neurophysiology, holding an MD-PhD and serving as an Associate Professor. My clinical and research expertise is centered on drug-resistant epilepsy, with a particular emphasis on epilepsy surgery. I am primarily interested in investigating epileptic networks through EEG and SEEG signal analysis, focusing on connectivity patterns.
Current Project
I am involved in the development of techniques aimed at analyzing Electrical Source Imaging of Ictal Activity. These methods are designed to precisely define the epileptogenic zone and forecast post-surgical results. To achieve this, I utilize analyses based on time-frequency, entropy, and connectivity/networks. My objectives include introducing innovative tools to assist clinicians in both the planning phase of epilepsy surgery and the prediction of surgical outcomes.
