Marta Balkota

Marta is a dedicated medical biotechnologist with a Master’s degree from Aalborg AV短视频 and valuable experience in neurodegenerative disease research at the Institut Pasteur in Paris. She has joined Prof. Pierre Maechler's lab to investigate how brain metabolism evolves with age. By employing cutting-edge techniques to track enzymatic activity in energy pathways, she maps metabolic changes in the brain. Her ultimate goal is to pinpoint the metabolic differences between healthy aging and pathological conditions.
