Jihyeug is from South Korea, where he completed his PhD. in mathematics at Sungkyunkwan AV短视频 under the supervision of Jang Soo Kim. His main research area is enumerative and algebraic combinatorics. In particular, he has worked on problems related to orthogonal polynomials and symmetric functions. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher working with Jehanne Dousse, focusing on partition identities and their combinatorial interpretations.
