AV¶ÌÊÓƵ

Alba obtained her Bachelor's degree from EPFL in 2010, followed by a Master's degree from ETHZ in 2012 and a PhD from the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ in 2015. She then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at until 2017 before joining the as a Research Assistant Professor. In spring 2020, she spent a semester at ETHZ as a SNF PRIMA fellow. Since November 2020 Alba holds a joint faculty position between the Theory Department at and the Section of Mathematics at the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ.

Alba is broadly interested in research topics at the interface between mathematics and theoretical physics. She works on topological string theory, formal aspects of (supersymmetric) quantum field theory, spectral theory, integrable systems, random matrix theory, resurgence theory, holography and quantum gravity.
