After a diploma (Master's) at ETH Zurich in theoretical physics, Jean-Pierre has basically spent his entire scientific life in Geneva. He is a retired professor in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics, and has worked in Quantum Foield Theory, Dynamical Systems, (stochastic PDE's) and, more recently in Theoretical Biology.
