Find below a list of organisations which regularly produce cultural events and performances听 in English in Geneva. The playreadings by GEDS also welcome non-native speakers and offer an exciting possibility to engage in the Geneva English-speaking community.

The GEDS performs three plays per year and organises a playreading every other week. For those who might be interested in actively participating in a playreading, know that even non-native speakers are welcome.


The GAOS offers three to four major stage productions each season, ranging from light opera and musicals to Music Hall, Cabaret and Pantomime.


Brings professional productions to Geneva, usually one in February and one in June.


Geneva鈥檚 English Speaking Drama School. Formed in 2005, the Simply Theatre Academy aims to provide quality theatre education in English for all levels and ages.


WRS-FM is Switzerland's only English language FM radio station. A broad mixture of classics and the latest hits. The programme includes both international and local news.


The Geneva Literary Aid Society organizes poetry and prose readings, one-man shows, etc. These events are sponsored by the Anglo Irish Bank in Geneva and proceeds go to people living with AIDS.
