Africa project

"Projet Afrique" (Project Africa), launched under the Vassalli rectorship in 2012, aims to coordinate the various initiatives of UNIGE researchers relating to Sub-Saharan Africa.听
- 5 priority partners have been identified:
Framework agreements have been signed with these institutions, facilitating student and teacher exchanges as well as joint research projects.
- A听听was started in 2016, putting UNIGE at the forefront of French-speaking universities in this field.听
- African afternoons have bee regularly organised in order to bring UNIGE's Africanist community together to discuss multidisciplinary themes, thereby facilitating inter-faculty exchanges.
Projet Afrique does not currently have its own funding.
