4EU+ Pizza Night

<< Back to 4EU+ HOME

At the start of this spring semester, the 4EU+ ambassadors are fully engaged in promoting the alliance. On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, an event was organized by three Geneva-based students – Béatriz, Céline and Thomas, who are also 4EU+ ambassadors. This event, titled "4EU+ Pizza Night," had the primary goal of promoting the 4EU+ alliance to UNIGE students. The evening brought together 17 students from various academic backgrounds, including law, international relations, education sciences, and from different levels, both bachelor’s and master’s students.

During the event

During this evening, the three ambassadors first introduced themselves one by one to the attendees. They then explained the flow of the event and answered general questions. For this occasion, the three 4EU+ ambassadors decided to organize a Kahoot quiz, as it is an interactive and fun activity. This engaging activity allowed the participants to learn more about the 4EU+ alliance, in particular the various opportunities offered to the students. Furthermore, there was a prize for the top three players who finished on the podium, adding an element of challenge for the participants. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere prevailed, and the participants were able to enjoy drinks and pizzas provided throughout the evening. This warm and intimate setting allowed everyone to ask any remaining questions after the Kahoot activity. The ambassadors were also able to rely on the presence of the head of the local office, Fiona Thonier, to provide additional information to the attending students. The participants greatly appreciated the numerous exchanges throughout the evening and learned a lot of information about 4EU+.

Objective Achieved?

As the first pilot event fully led by the students, the 4EU+ Pizza Night attracted a small but engaged group of attendees, bringing meaningful interactions. The objectives of the 4EU+ alliance were successfully presented to the students, which helped raise awareness of the alliance among a wider audience. The goal of the evening was not only to promote but also to introduce all the opportunities that the 4EU+ alliance offers to UNIGE students. Following this success, student ambassadors are now even more motivated to participate in future 4EU+ communication activities.
