Dr Xavier Droux is a Swiss Egyptologist and archaeologist. He graduated at the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ and holds a DPhil in Oriental Studies (2015) from the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ of Oxford. He is the curator of the collection of Egyptian archaeology at the Fondation Gandur pour l’Art, Geneva; he also co-directs the Swiss-French-Sudanese mission at Kerma – Doukki Gel since 2022 and is the assistant field director for the Hierakonpolis Expedition in Egypt. He is the creator and lead editor of the ponda.org platform dedicated to the study and documentation of Egyptian predynastic material culture.Ìý
