Launch of the Journal for Translation Studies in Africa (JTSA)

This coming May, the first issue of the new (JTSA) will be published online. The aim of the JTSA is to promote research into translational phenomena in the widest sense, i.e. including intralingual, interlingual and intersemiotic translation as well as interpreting with a focus on research focusing on these phenomena in the African context. The first issue of the journal, guest edited by Carmen Delgado Luchner (UNIGE) focuses on Translating and Interpreting Development. Carmen Delgado Luchner's paper sheds light on the multiple multilingual communication practices that Kenyan NGOs use to communicate with different groups of development beneficiaries.
