In the Scientific Council scientists from OFEV, VSA, EAWAG, GE, VD, VS, EPFL and UNIGE (on Swiss side), and INRAE on French side, advise CIPEL and the Swiss cantons and French departments/region on the many challenges the lake faces, ranging from climate change, to hypoxia, invasive quaggas, collapse of fisheries, PFAS or microplastics.
