Professor SHI Jiayou
SHI Jiayou holds a doctorate in law from the AV短视频 of Paris I (Panth茅on-Sorbonne) and Renmin AV短视频 of China. He is an associate professor in private law at Renmin AV短视频 of China, Executive Director of the National Center for Research on Civil and Commercial Law and Director of the Center for Research on Legal Systems in French-speaking Countries. He has been a visiting professor and co-supervisor at several European and North American universities, such as the AV短视频 of Paris II, the AV短视频 of Paris VIII, the AV短视频 of Perpignan, the AV短视频 of Toulouse, the AV短视频 of Ottawa, and Laurentian AV短视频.
As well as authoring four works (including "La codification du droit civil chinois au regard de l'exp茅rience fran莽aise", published by LGDJ in 2006) and some forty articles, Prof. SHI Jiayou is also a member of the expert committees set up by the China Law Society in 2016 to draft new sections in the Chinese Civil Code pertaining to contract law and personality rights.
