Enzo Marsura, Best Apprentice Polymechanic of the Canton of Geneva
It is with great pride that we announce that Enzo Marsura has been named Best Apprentice Polymechanic of the Canton of Geneva. He successfully completed his polymechanic apprenticeship (CFC) in the Mechanical Workshop of the Physics Section, demonstrating exceptional talent and commitment.
Already holding a high school diploma, Enzo distinguished himself through his mastery of a wide range of machining techniques, from conventional machines to CNC machines. He notably programmed and machined complex geometries on various machines using diverse programming languages such as ISO, Heidenhain, and conversational programming. Thanks to his skills and precision, he contributed to the production of complex prototype parts in a variety of challenging materials, including plexiglass, scintillator, stainless steel, copper and its alloys, vetronit, Teflon, and many more.
Enzo proved to be a conscientious, thoughtful, autonomous, and reliable individual, always meeting the high standards required in the workshop for the creation of complex prototypes. With a mature, pleasant, calm, and discreet demeanor, he quickly became an integral part of the technical team, maintaining excellent relationships with his colleagues and supervisors. The pleasure of working together was mutual.
This award is a well-deserved recognition of Enzo, who embodies the excellence and dedication expected in his profession. We warmly congratulate him and wish him a career as promising as his remarkable beginnings.
