Swiss Research Data Day 2018
Mandated by swissuniversities P-5 "Scientific Information" Programme, the (Data Life-Cycle Management) aims to develop data management services for the Swiss scientific community. Eight institutions and nearly 50 researchers participate in this initiative: EPFL, ETHZ, HEG/HES-SO, UNIBAS, UNIGE, UNIL, UNIZH and SWITCH. The project deliverables focus on the research data life-cycle, with the provision of resources dedicated to guidelines and policies, active data management, long-term preservation, support, training and education; and the dissemination of this expertise through the organisation of national days and the exchange of good practices.
The Swiss Research Data Day 2018 will take place on June 12th 2018 at ETH Zurich,Ìý.

The AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ, who is leading the DLCM project, is developing a generic tool that will enable researchers to meet the preservation and open data requirements of the funding agencies, particularly the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). It is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2018.
