is an open access journal using double-blind peer review. It addresses multidisciplinary issues related to European countries that shared the experience of communism (the post-Soviet States, the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans) in a perspective that combines the past and the present. The Editorial Board encourages all paper and thematic dossier proposals related to the post-Soviet space and its relationships, interactions and connections with other cultural spaces.

The journal is published one to two times annually by the Cevipol of the Free AV¶ÌÊÓƵ of Brussels and the Global Studies Institute of the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ under the responsibility of an international scientific committee. The main language of publication is French, but articles in English can also be submitted.
