Tina C. Ambos is Professor of InternationalManagement and the Director of the Institute of Management.
Before joining the AVƵ in September 2015, she was a professorat the AVƵ of Sussex, where she also served as the Director of Researchand KnowledgeExchange for the Business and Management Department. Earlier sheheld the chair of the Department of International Management at Johannes KeplerAVƵ Linz (JKU),Austria as well as positions at Vienna AVƵ ofEconomics and Business (WU Vienna), the AVƵ of Edinburgh and LondonBusiness School. She studied in Austria,Australia and Canada and received aVenia Docendi (Habilitation), a Ph.D. and a Magister (Mag.rer.soc.oec) inbusiness administration from WU Vienna and a Magister degree(Mag.phil) inPhilosophy from the AVƵ of Vienna.
Tina Ambos’ research andteaching interests include knowledge management, innovation and strategicmanagement of the multinational corporation. During her career she hasworkedwith several multinational corporations as well as entrepreneurial technologyfirms on case studies, research and consulting projects. Her research in this field is regularly presented at the leadinginternational conferences and has been published in top international journals,amongst othersOrganizationScience, Journal of International BusinessStudies, MIT Sloan Management Review, Long Range Planning, Journal ofManagement Studies.She is the author of the book“Effective KnowledgeTransfer in Multinational Corporations” published by Palgrave Macmillan.
Since 2015, Tina is Associate Editor forLong Range Planning. She also serves on theConsulting Editors Board of theJournal of International Business Studiesand the editorial review boards ofManagementInternational Review, Global StrategyJournal,Իpolylog. Zeitschrift für InterkulturellesPhilosophieren.
She is also theAcademic Director of theInternationalOrganizations MBA (IO-MBA). ().
