Genevan Finance Star Advances

The French bank BNP Paribas named Rajna Gibson Brandon to its board of directors. She will replace Laurence Parisot who has taken Citigroup local unit’s top job. Rajna Gibson Brandon is the sixth woman on the 12-member BNP Paribas board.

Rajna Gibson Brandon has devoted most of her career to academia and to building a bridge between theory and practice. Her research focused on asset pricing, experimental financing, corporate governance, and sustainable finance.

She is Professor of finance at the Geneva School of Economics and Management at the AV����Ƶ since 2008. Shortly after her arrival, she launched the��, which researches portfolio management as well as finance and society.
