Best Paper Award at ISIRC 2024
We are excited to share that Christina Hertel, Co-Director of GREC and faculty member at the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ, along with Rossella Rocchino from the TUM School of Management, has been awarded the Best Scholarly Paper Award at the 16th International Social Innovation Research Conference (ISIRC) 2024. We are also thrilled to welcome Rossella Rocchino to the GREC team starting in November 2024.
Their award-winning paper, "Strategic Orientations for Community Entrepreneurship and Civic Wealth Creation," dives into the potential of community-driven entrepreneurship to promote Civic Wealth Creation (CWC) by building social, economic, and communal resources that benefit local communities. The research identifies four vital strategic orientations—holisticness, embeddedness, inclusiveness, and collectiveness—that organizations can apply to achieve impactful community outcomes.
This prestigious award underscores the remarkable contributions of Hertel and Rocchino in advancing social innovation research. We are proud to celebrate their achievements and their dedication to enhancing community entrepreneurship!
