Welcome Message for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

As summer ends, GSEM looks forward to welcoming students to a new academic year!

Last week, the Uni Mail campus came alive through the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ Welcome Days and the Mathematics Preparatory School. Welcome sessionsÌýfor students of the Master's programsÌýalso took place during this first week, while the first week of the academic year features theÌýwelcome session for Bachelor in Economics and Management.ÌýThis is the perfect opportunity for some to get to know their new faculty, and for others to keep making progress in their studies.

To succeed in your university journey, adequate support is essential. Therefore, theÌýStudent ServicesÌýof our faculty is available to answer various questions and simplify academic procedures. The student information pagesÌýare a key hub, offering personalized assistance and accessible services. The structure is divided into dedicated pages for Bachelor, Master & Certificate programs, Ph.D., Student Intranet, Exchange Programs, and Student Life.

The School offers a wide range ofÌýresearch seminars and workshops, providing an opportunity to discover and discuss current research in the fields of economics, econometrics, management, statistics, and finance.

In addition, the GSEM student community can take advantage of the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ LibraryÌýtraining coursesÌý(online and in person) on activities related to managing bibliographic references, searching databases, and avoiding plagiarism. Career, activities, sports, and social integration resources are available via the UNIGE'sÌýÌýservice. Students can find information and more atÌýÌýin the heart of Uni Dufour. Also available isÌýHelp UNIGE, which support and guidance for handling cases of harassment, discrimination, conflict, or violence.
