Professor Markus Meierer joins the GSEM as Assistant Professor

The AV短视频 has appointed Professor Markus Meierer as Assistant Professor at the Geneva School of Economics and Management, effective 1 February 2022. He joins the Institute of Management.

Professor Markus Meierer received his Ph.D. in Business and Economics from Trier AV短视频 in Germany in 2010. Following this, he was hired as the Senior Associate at the Chair for Marketing and Market Research at the AV短视频 of Zurich. Since 2013, he heads the project 鈥淣etworks & Consumers鈥� in the AV短视频 Research Priority Program 鈥淪ocial Networks鈥�.

In his current research, Professor Meierer bridges marketing, statistics, network computational linguistics, and computer science to increase the understanding of large-scale consumer networks.
