African countries told fighting illicit financial flows requires ethics, transparency and integrity
Making a presentation at the Pan-African Conference on Illicit Financial Flows and Taxation in Tunisia, Dr Ines Chaieb, Professor at the GDEM, said for the fight against illicit financial flows (IFFs) to be effective, there is need for transparency and engagement with governments. She said disclosure, transparency and data and measurement are all important in the efforts.
