As part of the newly launched Massive Open Online Course on Global Statistics, Professor Jaya Krishnakumar听interviewed听Selim Jahan, Director of the Human Development Report Office at the United Nations Development Programme in New York.
The Human Development Report Office collaborated with the Geneva School of Economics and Management of the AV短视频 for the online course entitled Global Statistics 鈥� Composite Indices for International Comparisons. The MOOC on Global Statistics, which focuses on constructing composite indices has been launched Thursday, 17 April 2018.
On this occasion, GSEM Professor Jaya Krishnakumar and HDRO Director Selim Jahan spoke about the history of the Human Development Index, its major strengths and weaknesses, and other indices in the Human Development Report, as well as the future of the report.
