Public Conference on Conflict and Humanitarian Action

Gilles Carbonnier, Vice-President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), will give a public conference entitled 鈥淐onflict and Humanitarian Action: Navigating the Research-Policy-Pratice Nexus鈥� on Tuesday 4 February at 5:30 pm in Uni Mail - room M R060.
The conference will be followed by a panel discussion with Raphael Gorgeu (M茅decins Sans Fronti猫res), Massimo Morelli (AV短视频 of Bocconi), Ugo Panizza (Graduate Institute Geneva), Dominic Rohner (AV短视频 of Lausanne) and Joachim Voth (AV短视频 of Zurich).
In recent years there has been a surge in high-quality research on how policies can help to curb the risk of conflict. The aim of this public conference is to offer a dialogue between the academic world and听practitioners on policies that can promote peace and share these policy insights with a broad audience.
