Ìý Thomas Bolognesi, PhD Dr.ÌýBolognesi holds a doctorate in Economics from the AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ of Grenoble and was a Scientific Officer with the Education and Knowledge component of the Geneva Water Hub. He managed the Hub’s research network and contributed to developing resources for the online platform. His research focused on managing urban water systems and the impact of institutional change on the dynamics and sustainability of socio-ecological systems. Ìý Fatine Ezbakhe, PhD Dr.ÌýEzbakheÌýholds aÌýdoctorateÌýin Civil Engineering, with a dissertation on decision analysis theory and methods to address data uncertainty in prioritising policy options and monitoring progress in the water, energy and health sectors. She was a Scientific Officer at the AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ, associated with the Geneva Water Hub’s Research and Education component. Currently, she serves as the Deputy to the Associate Vice Presidencies for Research and Centers/Platforms at EPFL. Ìý Louise Anne Gallagher, PhDÌý Dr. Gallagher holds a PhD in Environmental Studies from AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ College Dublin and has broad science-policy-business experience gained over ten years of working with organisations such as UN Environment and WWF on a range of sustainability topics. The common thread throughout her research is to link transdisciplinarity and action in environmental governance to address challenges of sustainable consumption and production and improve sustainability outcomes in practice. Dr. Gallagher’s current focus is advancing multistakeholder cooperation, sustainability analysis, and responsible sourcing practices to address pressing issues related to sand and silicates utilisation and sustainability at the AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ of Queensland’s Sustainable Minerals Institute. Ìý Hannah Hämmerli (née Hilbert-Wolf), PhD Dr. Hämmerli holds a PhD from James Cook AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ (Australia) and an MSc in Innovation, Human Development, and Sustainability from the AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ (Switzerland). At the Geneva Water Hub her primary responsibilities included contributing to the team’s Politics of Dams action track and project on hydro-diplomacy and -politics in the media in collaboration with The Water Diplomat. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Washington State AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ (USA). Dr. Hämmerli’s research focuses on national and transboundary hydropolitics and sustainable water governance; political ecology; political economy; sustainable development; policy and institutional change; and the science-policy-practice nexus. Ìý Denis Lanzanova, PhD Dr. Lanzanova holds a PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics. He was a Scientific Officer at the Research and Education component of the Geneva Water HubÌýand currently a project advisor at the European Research Executive Agency (European Commission). His research focused on natural resource management, valuation of ecosystem services and decision analysis. His work sought to develop and apply holistic approaches to support practical decision-making under the veil of uncertainty and to characterize how tools from social sciences can complement existing decision-support systems for the governance of the water-food-energy nexus. Ìý Léna Salamé Ms. Salamé (LLM; M. Phil in international public law degree, Sorbonne AV¶ÌÊÓÆµ) specialised in water diplomacy and mediation at a Harvard-MIT-Tufts joint programme. She served in the UN for 17 years as the strategic and operational coordinator of its water conflict and cooperation programme. She designed around 100 training courses and capacity-building activities on international law, conflict management, confidence building and cooperation processes. Her audiences encompassed young, mid- and high-level professionals, executive officers, media professionals, decision-makers, and civil society leaders from all continents.
