This paper, entitled «ÌýCorporate human rights due diligence and liability in armed conflictsÌý: the Role of the ILC Draft Principles on the Protection of the Environment and the Draft UN Treaty on Business and Human RightsÌý»Ìýargues that the principle of enhanced human rights due diligence is particularly adapted to the situations of armed conflicts and post-conflict settings. Given the sensitivity of these contexts, private companies could be more easily involved in violations of human rights law during and after armed conflicts. This principle could help to prevent these violations.
