Laser-guided lightning
A European consortium led by the AV¶ÌÊÓƵ, École Polytechnique (Paris), EPFL and TRUMPF has managed to guide lightning âš¡ using a high-power laser installed at the top of Mount Säntis in Switzerland. This unprecedented experiment opens the way to the development of more efficient lightning conductors.
