The Department of Translation conducts research in the following key areas:
- Legal and institutional translation
- Multilingualism and language policy
- Revision and quality assurance
- Literary translation
- Translation and society
- Techno-pedagogy for remote translation
Various studies, including doctoral dissertations, are in progress in these areas.
The Department’s professors lead two research groups: , which specialises in legal and institutional translation, and élf (Observatoire économie langues formation) which focuses on economics, languages and education.
